Mix and Match Papers

You may try layering two or more papers of different colors, patterns, and textures to create a special look. To achieve the look, start by wrapping your gift with one paper. Then cut wide bands from a second, complementary paper (of different color, patterns, or textures) and, using double-sided tape, wrap each band across the top and down two sides. Choose creative combination of colors to create the look that you want. You may also add a special touch by using pleated design by folding one paper or overlapping few papers.

Big Showy Ribbons

Tie your ribbon around your gift and make a basic bow. Tie three more bows around the knot of the first one, with the loops facing in different directions. For Special Effect, you may use different patterns and colors (for example, red and white ribbons or mixture of colors).

Ribbons with flowers

Tie a piece of ribbon around your box; finish with a quick knot on top, instead of a bow, secure one or more flowers on the knot and finish it off with a bow. This portray a sense of "thoughtfulness" in your gifts.
